Last night, we got a new couch. A very generous Christmas gift from an undisclosed source, the new couch came at the perfect time after the issues of the last apartment and is a huge blessing. We spent time looking around, but in the end, after all the "comparison shopping," we landed right back at Ashley Furniture to decide between the first two couches we had looked at. Just goes to show you that impulse buying really may be the way to go!
Our friend Todd helped us to go pick it up (though he actually works for a competitor, delivering furniture for them). We used the truck rental at Home Depot (making my dad proud) and had the couch home pretty quickly. The official welcome of the couch into our home was me sitting comfortably on it watching the last two Veronica Mars (Tom opted for the orange chair, which was also moved up into the apartment yesterday).

I'm glad you didn't pick that UGLY Green Bay Packers green color!!! It would just fall apart and leave you guys flat on your backs.........
